AIS Director of Events

For the 2020-2021 school year, I have taken on the role of Director of Events for the Association of Information Systems, one of the top organizations in the Fox School of Business. As a Director of Events, I have learned how to manage a team completely online and successfully run over ten events. We have conducted small and large-scale events for over 200 members. My team and I also find and manage relationships with local businesses and prominent community members for the club to help with community service in Philadelphia.

Digital Marketing & SEO  Intern

This semester I am taking on the role of a Digital Marketing & SEO intern at Better Mrkt. During this internship, I am developing keyword lists and strategies to increase rankings, traffic, and lead to better conversions. I help out with eCommerce by using analytical tools to inform strategy and optimize pages/campaign. I have conducted UX tests resulting in navigational improvements online and increased traffic. A key role in my job is collaborating with social media and copyright interns as well to optimize all social media channels. Together we determine the ROI of campaigns and increasing engagement across channels.

Digital Consulting

A co-worker and I worked as a digital consultant this summer to help a local Philadelphia business, Language to Literacy, to revamp their website after facing challenges with the pandemic. We had multiple meetings with the client to discuss changes and improvements. We created a social media strategy and SEO guide as well. We also showed the client how to use WordPress to recreate the site changes we made. We enhanced the user interface with appealing visuals and content using Elementor to make the website more user friendly.
